Okay guys and girls, I am going to "rate" this Robusto I just fired off, but I will quit pretending I know anything about flavors such as; leathery, nutty, creamy, coffee bean etc... I am a friggin' boot camp when it comes to explaining that stuff so please bear with me.

Aesthetics: The cigar looked good. The wrapper was brown and well put together.

The burn: It lit well but burned a little lopsided. I cut it with a V-cutter (my favorite) and had to use the torch to keep it even a couple times.

The draw: Perfect. At least to me because I like a medium draw. Enough smoke, but not "billowing".

The ash: dark grey ash, it fell off about every 3/4 of an inch, which I found unusual.

The taste: It was good. I neither liked it a lot nor did I dislike it. It was okay. I broke the rule of smoking at least 2 though, as this was my first one. I'd smoke another.

A great cigar! I have had a few. Any idea on the age of it? Most of mine were from 01.

2001. It was pretty pedestrian. I liked it, but it was not one of those "moments" ya know?

I got some Ramone Allones Ultimo offa this place, and I loved every one I smoked, except one. Maybe two - I shared one with a buddy, after telling him how good they were. Both were dog rockets. I smoked another one since then, and it was really good. I would buy more. Good cigar, first fulled-bodied smoke I really liked.

Sometimes it not just the cigar that can comprise one of those "moments".

I just finished up a Partagas Lusitania and it was Heavenly. I believe it was from '98 but I could be wrong. Left me wondering what the potential would be with another year under its belt 😉

Have had these from '03 as far back as '98 and never had a bad one. Always very flavorful although I would never classify these as "full bodied".

I smoke some won here too, a friend had his birthday and I was going to see him at the club the day before but he was sick, I was going to give him one. Glad he wasn't there, cause after I smoked it decided I didn't want to share them, lol

This was an ISOM. Good, but unimpressive is all.

MACS, I actually prefer your style of "laymans" review. . . I'm kinda at a loss also when I start reading about tasting leather, dirt and pineapples.

Thanks seth. I'm pretty much a complete newbie. I think I have a total of 80-85 cigars at the moment in 2 humi's. Most guys here have that at work...
