do a search for "Clear 2 Mil Reclosable Bags" -- you'll want the 2 mil 2x8 size. these are high quality all the way.

oh -- folks might want to get together and do a split on these. they only sell by the case (1,000) and a case, including shipping, is about $12-13. 🙂

yeah, if someone wants to do a split, a LOT of B/SOTLs could be covered for very little money. 1,000 bags split four ways even would be 250 per person at about $3.25 each including shipping of the big box from the company. probably be about $1.50-ish for individual postage to send 'em out to folks after that.

so figure a total of about $4.75 max per person, excluding whomever the box would go to. not bad.

Instead of cluttering up Humi with singles in bags... To to look into buying blank labels to out ont the gars. You can write what they are on the label...

i still use the baggies when i send out "naked nudey" cigars (no cello) -- it's just good protection for them. if i have any in the humi that are delicate i'll bag 'em, too.

but the blank bands are great for remembering things like which unbanded cigar came from where -- esp. since i usually buy bandless cigars (the house brand) at my local store.

bassdude, i'm getting a package ready for you to go out monday, and i'll toss some of these in for you to check out.

i have some of these, and they're really useful. they're loose (so you can't print 'em) and meant for writing on by hand. they're good quality, though.

i'm thinking 1k is a lot for one person (though maybe not, knowing some of you guys!), so maybe we can group up and divide up a lot of 1,000 bands to cut down the pricetag.

On another board they are doing a group buy for these. I was thinking about getting some and it makes the decision easier if others need them as well. I could never imagine using 1000 of them...

i think we're both talking about the same resource here... just emailed to ask him for particulars on getting the $ to him and also if he'd sell in lots less than 1k (doubt it).

do you want to go ahead and run this as a group buy? when he replies, i can just forward his email to you unless you've already got the info.

i personally am not up for getting in on this, as the amount i have now is sufficient.
