Hey everyone...finally the U of Illinois cigar club has a good photograph of most of the members of the club. This picture was taken a couple days ago at our weekly smoke night at a bar here on campus. As always, it was an awesome time.

Hey Phil...mroptimistic makes a 1.5 hour drive from bradley university every couple of weeks to herf with the club. He's the only forum member who i know of who is somewhat in the area.

we actual have several girls in the club, but the girl on the right was the only one who made it this week... 😕

Good photo! It's good to see that the UofI still kicking. Believe it or not, you've just touched base with Adroomi's old stomping grounds. In fact, to be more specific tell "mroptimistic" to head down to Avanti's and get a Gondola for me. Or possibly Steak and shake for a slice. Tell him to take a walk on down Main, he'll probably hear my ghosts calling his name.....when he gets to Big Al's, look down. My name is in the sidewalk in front...at least it was in '83. Man, the 'droomi's getting homesick now.

Im the one next to george in the blue/dark blue shirt. And Ive boycotted avantis because the food is less then exciting and too many people are always there. Also what slice can you get at steak and shake? They just serve burgers/sandwiches and shakes.

Dont get homesick for peoria, it isn't worth it 😉

Anyway yeah I try and drive up to U of I at least every couple weeks, 1 1/2 hours aint bad for a nice night of herfing.

Hmmm, favorite cigars of the club? Tough question since we do have so many people, but it seems like CAO night was everyones favorite. We had CAO Brazilias and Cameroons. Definitely was a good smoke night.

gvlagos - I "thought" I saw a couple of CAO caps in the background (lol)...dude, send me an e-mail and we'll send your club some of the new CAO "7-Star Classic" Caps!
