Ok Fuente experts, the Best Seller should be a 5" gar and the SS 4.5. A few days ago a BOTL said he had some BS and they were 4.5 not 5. Seemed odd. Went into my local who just recievd a box of BS and they 2 are 4.5. I pulled an older one from my humi and it is 5. Did Fuente change the size?

Must have. Mine are all 5". Never saw a 4.5" BS.

Bass, isn't their a big difference in ring guage? I think the BS goes to a 55 ring?

Thanks Ton - I first discovered this last week (I think). I've smoked about a box worth of short stories in the past - have none in my humi now and I can't find any locals with SS to compare - just a new box of BS that look like SS - but if I remember correctly - they do seem to be a slightly larger ring gauge... looks like Fuente is running out of tobacco....

I just got off the phone with Eric Newman(of Fuente/Newman), and he said there has been no change to the Best Seller, it is 5".....NOT 4.5"

Also, I think Lowman may be right...or maybe selling SS as BS was a "mistake"?

Yeah, that "mistake" is about $22.50 difference per box. Ouch!

Yes look at the ring guages the BS should be 55 at its biggest. The SS should be about 48 I think.

There has to be something to this - so far I have found three different retailers from across the country selling BS's that are 4.5 inches long.

Oh, I'll check the ring gauge tonight....

My thoughts were that the shops might be placing "lasts" of the SS into the box of BS to save on shelf space...then again this seems like an epidemic now...

yep I know someone who just bought a box of BS and they were 4.5. Correct the RG s/b bigger I did not ask him that.

Does the BestSeller come in Maduro as well? How difficult are these to get compared to the MM, UTSM, WOAM BTL etc?

I don't think there's a maduro. Used to be pretty hard to get one (at least for me) until AF recently started shipping these circumcized ones....

The concensus on the "other" site is that SS are 4 inches and BS are 4.5....I'll measure my SS later, don't have any BS [insert joke here].
