Just got back from Vegas. While I was there I stopped at a shop to see what they had. Right in front row center of the humidor was a box of AF Anejo sharks. I look at them a little closer and see that some of the sticks on the top row have a nice crop of mold growing. I simply shook my head and walked away.

I did score a nice AF Hemingway Untold Story in Maduro though.

I'm off to vegas the last week of April. Any tips on where to go to checkout cigars. The few people I know that smoke tell me to bring my own, but there has to be one or two nice shops to browse in. Maybe the Palms being that they did a CAO event there. Speaking of CAO~ I walked into my regular shop yesterday (Mom's Cigars in Valley Stream, NY) and there was Jon Huber talking to the Manager. Figures~ the time I see him there aren't any Hot models all around him :o) ... but it was still cool to see him in person.

Hell, I would have went thru the box to check others... If they were a good price and the mold hasn't damaged the wrapper... wipe it off and smoke it!!!

i have seen 5 or 6 boxes of sharks this year and all had some mold on them. had to have been how they were stored before they got shiped. i bought a box took the cello off and wiped them all down and have had no worry's since

what Low said - I can see it now - the sharks were $7 each and the mold was really plume.....
