Here's what's going on; we are doing a box pass and a suggestion was made that the tracking # should be sent via e-mail to those involved, instead of posting it on the forum because there are ISOM's in that box and we post what cigars go in the box. It’s a good observation and a suggestion that we’ll use.

Now, people around here are pretty open about posting information, in general, regarding ISOM's. This opens the question, how paranoid should a person be about them? ISOM's are contraband, and this is a forum open to the ENTIRE WORLD. What do you do to keep “under the radar”, or do you avoid the subject altogether? What’s your opinion?

My opinion is that this is on the wrong board and it should be taken to e-mail. But thats just my opinion...

I would keep that info off the forum regardless of the contents of the box. We had one box come up missing and that is just another safeguard in your pass.

If I work for the PO and I love good gars and am not honest and I read this forum and see that your box is coming to my PO what stops me from confiscating it?

It has always been my knowledge, unless someone tells me different, that ISOM are legal to possess. You just can't sell them or buy them though. I know that people who go to Cuba for legal purposes, can bring back $100 or some amounts worth of cigars. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I guess you guys are just trying to keep it safe.
