I am having a terrible time getting the humidity in my humidor over 60%. I have tried many different things I have been told over the years, but this thing just wont budge. I bought it on CigarBid last year. Any ideas?

climmax media. It has worked wonders for me. Keeps my humi at a consistant 65% RH.

When I got a new desktop humidor couple weeks back, I filled the credo then also cut a vitamin bottle in half, pushed the bottom part into a block of Oasis to break off the right size/shape, then filled this with distilled water. I had this little humi above 70 in just 2 days.

Recently converted to climmax. Great stuff.

What bassdude said.

This is what I do to my new humis each time I get a new one:

1. Soak a good sized sponge with distilled water.
2. Wring it out, but leave a good amount of moisture in it.
3. Place it on a baggie in the bottom of the humi for about 24-48 hours.
4. Take it out and watch the hygrometer fall slowly.
5. When it hits about 68%, throw your climmax and your smokes in there and you should be good to go.

This has worked for me every time.

*note* The above directions were for humidors that hold 25-300 smokes. I don't have a cabinet... yet.
