I posted some of this in the newbie trade thread but wanted to make sure that everyone knows that Dave is a great trader. We agreed to a 7-10 stick trade and Dave sent his gars out first. I received well over 20 great sticks (CAO, Gurkhas, and LPH's to name a few).

I just returned fire and early reports are coming in that I decimated his poor mailbox... 🙂

Don't hesitate to trade with this fine fellow. He even rolls his own blend of gar's.

You said the trade may be loopsided. I just did my best to even it out before you had the chance to destroy me. And you did! You sent me cigars I only drool over. Like I said, I feel guilty smoking a $3 stick. That`s pretty much my limit. Today is X-mas for me, thanks to Santa Jay!

I`ve rolled only a few dozen now and still getting the hang of it. It takes me about 12 hours to make 10. (6 hours of that is for the pressing) Some are ugly, some are ok, now I`m working on different blends to fit my taste. Once you try to roll and blend your own, you really appreciate the master rollers and enjoy cigars even more when they taste just right and burn just right.
But, you just can`t beat smokin` a freshly rolled cigar that you just made. The flavors haven`t mellowed yet (that takes about a month), but like I told Jay, it`s smooth as butter and whole different taste. Each batch, I gotta have a freshie!
Do a google search. I`ve found 2 supplies for raw tobacco.
