OK exactly one week from today, I'm on a plane to Honolulu and have a week's stay in a two story corner penthouse room at Hilton Hawaiian Village to look forward to. Now the hotel has a couple of spots where cigars are ok and I will have a corner wraparound lanai to kick back and have a smoke, but I'm wondering if anyone has found any cool cigar spots in Honolulu that I could sneak away to when the wife and kids are resting.

I am envious. Check with cigarnewb if he is still around. He lives in Hawaii.

The Hyatt Waikiki has two outdoor bars (one is by the pool on the second or third floor and the other is on the ground floor) Several other hotels have outdoor bars where cigars are permitted. Make sure you take along more than you think you'll need. You don't want to pay local prices. Have fun. Honolulu is a great city to visit. Stop at an L&L drive-inn restaurant and try the chicken katsu. Good food at a good price.

Okay... ready? Been to Hawaii a buncha times. Specifically O'ahu because that is where the Navy base is. Write this down:

Cigar Cigar. It is on South King Street in Honolulu, don't remember the exact address, but you can find it easy. Walk in Humidor, lots of brands.

Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki has a beach bar where smoking stogies is encouraged. They have a cigar shop also. I believe they specialize in Dunhill, but carry lots of brands.

Caffe Pronto and Gordon Biersch allow cigars.

Enjoy. I'll be there the end of June!
