I have a couple of smaller ones and love them.

They are especially great when it comes to traveling.

i like my smaller one, but the seal isnt that great it was at first now lets lots of dry air in. I like them for a weekend trip, but much longer than 4-5 days I wouldnt keepem in them.

Mine has worked great for travel. The longest I had my gars in there was during a 2 week business trip. It kept the cigars in fine condition. I've had mine for about 7 or 8 months now. Its also ventured with me on cigar crawls and will probably go to CigarFest with me.

If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to make the foam shelves a little more firm. If you decide that you want a cigar that you stashed all the way on the bottom of the box, you have to be a little careful when lifting out the foam shelves with cigars sitting on them.

I have that size and love it. I also have a few smaller ones that I have been using for over a year. Never had an issue with the seal though.

So did you blow the seal?

Always use mine for extended trips; got the one that holds about 30 or so. Also have the smaller one that came with Perdomos and a lighter for same-day outings. I use the humi pouches in both (instead of pg/h2o) and smokes are perfect.

got same one. ITs great and i dont notice the seal issue (laughs at NO IT WAS OTTER JOKE). works great for me . I load up 30+ and throw it in back of pickup for hunting season with the gang and gets banged around and smokes are in great shape! Gonna get a small 5 pack holder for day trips.

The only problem I have with mine is that you have to keep it full. Once it gets less than full (one empty layer), then the cigars rattle around.

I have the 15 count.

I take it to the bar all the time.

bottom layer - $1 smokes for people I meet who would like a cigar but don't know their ass from a hole in the ground

Middle layer - my stuff and gifts for those who know enought to be deemed worthy

Top layer - my cutters and lighter

Very pleased...in fact the 15ct. was an upgrade from the 5ct.

i pack them in there and leave at least one layer of foam out. I take the form with me on trip and as i smoke out of the box and put the spare layer of form in to keep it tight. I have not smoked out the entire box yet but if it starts to get like that i might consider spare layers of foam or alternate fillers to take up the room i guess

You just can't go wrong with these. I've air-traveled with them, carried them on a cruise, used them for temporary storage............They've always come through like a champ.

BTW..........don't ever moisten the credo uniess you're going to store for a VERY long time! They're airtight and will hold the moisture almost forever. Unless you're careful, you can seriously over-humidify your cigars..........Just my thoughts............

Love everything about mine except the color...bright yellow! I got it so that I could carry my treasures on the boat without worry of them going overboard. Worked like a charm. Great to take along in the back of the golf cart also...except everyone else on the course knows you've got a supply available. Everyone calls it my "lunch box".

That was "Snake Pliskin" (spelling?, Escape From New York) you were thinking of. Rasta lives. Seems like I saw you looking for some BTLs the other day (perhaps a box split)...not sure which forum. If that falls through let me know and I can hook you up with a couple. Looking forward to getting back to the Lake...and Arkansas..in the next few weeks! If you get to Table Rock you'll recognize me in a black and white Cobalt named "Rasta" with an ugly yellow OtterBox holding a bunch of yummy smokes.

Most weekends from May through August. My place is in Shell Knob, right by Campbell Point Marina. I usually head up the White River when it is scorching hot out since the water always seems cooler up there coming off the bottom of Beaver.
