It's just about time for me to hit the local nursery and pick a nice hibiscus plant for the garden. They don't survive the winter in Virginia so I plant a new one each spring and it makes it through the fall.

I pick the flowers and feed them to my iguana. It's her favorite treat. Well, as far as I can tell anyway.

you should be able to get a blue hibiscus back there. i don't know it's official name but it puts out a flower almost 10 inches in diameter.

the ants got my first one. it is a hybred. my local nursery can't get it.

Rick, my wife can't wait for her newest, The Great White. It's supposed to have a "Big Ass" flower. She's also crossed a couple and made some of her own. She came back from a show last week with the truck full!
