not far off. i had a hoagie in wrightstown and ended up with food poisening.

about the pedals. i could drive a jag, but i couldn't reach the pedals on a healy. every car i've owned since then i've had to put an extension on the gas pedal.

now they are coming out with a control that brings the pedals up and closer to the drivers feet.

I bet those were the days....

truth be told, it did come equiped with a crank starter.

on the back of the picture i have 2 dates.

oct 4, 1955. the day i took delivery of the car and the day the dodgers won the world series. the salesman wouldn't finish the paperwork to deliver the car until peewee reese mad the throw to first for the third out to win the series.

sep 24, 1957 the day the dodgers played their last game at ebbets field, the day baseball as i knew it ended.

Tell the truth, that car was a babe magnet, wasn't it?
