i am a mild-medium taste profile and primarily only smoking one manufacture and looking to venture out to see what i am missing. thats why i was thinking of this. But if its not worth that $$$ MSRP (i have no idea whats its really worth) .

hmmmmmm - ok thanks for input and I will wait for a few more replies to commit or not to it.

Cbid forums ROCK~!

Here is my .02 on this deal. I think that all the single are 2-4 bucks (its really hard to be exact because you gave us no sizes) a stick @ box prices so lets average and say $3. The box unopened box runs in the $70 range. The other I don't know about.

Now with that being said if you are still trying to peg our flavor profile and expermint with different brands you are not ready to buy boxes yet. Box purchases are a big commitment to one cigar and you need to like it.

My suggestion is make an offer on the singles based on that average price.

A true BOTL shouldn't be trying to sell their "ceegars" to you. imho, he should either offer to trade them to you or just give them to you to make room in his humi. Just my .02 worth

There is no problem with someone selling their stash... as long as it's a fair deal. Just because many BOTL's are very generous with gifts and bombs doesn't mean that everyone has to be. As long as they are being fair.

gadog95 I disagree with your statement

"A true BOTL shouldn't be trying to sell their "ceegars" to you"

This is perfectly acceptable. What is not acceptable or very un-BOTL is to make a profit on the sale of those cigars at the expense of your fellow leaf lovers. There are many of us out here who split boxes amoungst ourselves and charge no more then to cover our costs.

I agree. Freebies are never expected in my book. I also agree with the slave of the chip. Take the $120 and buy some five packs on cbid - that can get you pretty far.....I also like the party short idea.....or you can contact my cigar acquisitions firm and we can handle the deal for you, just a 15% fee...

Chipslave called it. That's 10 to 12 5-packs, including shipping. That's a lot of venturing out.

As I see it, that's really not all that bad a price. Certainly less than you'd pay retail. My problem is that it locks you in to ONLY those smokes. Several of them you may not care for at all if you haven't tried them. The advantage of the five packs is that you are in control of what your money buys. Understanding that you may purchase five packs that you don't like either, you are still calling the shots on that. If you like'um, pat yourself on the back for a good choice; if you don't like'um you've learned a lesson that will probably stick with you a little more.

Point is you're in control with how you disburse your money when you're calling the shots on the five packs. I see the control as a better option than being locked in as far as the lot of cigars you mentioned.

However, just my thoughts..............

he has come down to $100 and note - this is not a cbid poster or BOTL (whatever that is 🙂 sorry i r noobie)

A few of the names (he sent me picture to clarify for me the sizes) are ones i would buy on cbid to try anyways or on my wish I could try these list. The box for example i never heard of or would probably buy so i thing thats just a throw in. I would try them and or trade or give away if no good.

I appreciate the advise (as always) and will think this up a bit more and possibly hit the bids on 5 packs on monday 🙂

thanks again!
