Boy, what a dissapointment. Not to my liking at all. Uninspiring and quite beneath my expectations....

Oh wait, that was my pittiful 1-4 at the plate last night. Although the one hit was a two out bases clearing double in a 19-8 win.

Now, on to the La Flor Dominicana DL Chisel...

WOW!

First of all let me say that I liked the chisel tip. Found it to be quite comfortable. I fired this baby up with a nice bottle of Cabernet. The cigar, (construction, burn, ash) was excellent. Thick and rich and extremely satisfying. It wasn't strong per se, but incredibly hearty without being overpowering. Ms. Dragon and I tried to figure out if it was more a roasted nut or coffee flavor. Jose (thschrminm) was correct in that the LFD punch was winding up and waiting till the last third of the smoke. Man, what a finish. But it didn't stop me from blistering my tongue and fingers. Most certainly not your every day smokey treat, much like a JDN Antano in that regard, but one that needs to be in my humi. A must for all full cigar lovers.

I will be purchasing a box of these in the very near future.
