As some may know, my 15 year old son was recently diagnosed as type 1 diabetes. He was having a very difficult time of it yesterday and his frustrations with it escalated into a battle between him and I.
He needed to vent his frustrations and he was being a pain. The battle escalated until he stormed out of the shop and slammed the door. Kind of like the faterh and son on American Chopper. LOL!

Anyway, about 15 minutes later, he came back into the shop and told me I had a pacakage. We spent the next hour or so going thru the package and discussing his problems, how someone could be so generous and caring and what we could do to help relieve some of the stress my son is going thru.

I have to tell you, you cannot imagine the impact your actions have made.

After reading my post, I should clarify that the package was a package of cigars from EvilJAR and it sparked a discussion between my son and I that was much needed. It allowed us some time to spend talking.
It was a catalyst, if you will.

Which is why I say it had so much impact.
BTW, I posted a picture of what he sent in the picture forum and you can see why we spent an hour with it. Not sure when it will go up.
