OK Folks. I've been putting in a lot of OT over the past couple weeks, and I've got some green I'm going to burn on a box of Fuentes.

Assuming that Opus X is off the table (I didn't make THAT much 😉, which Fuente would you go after and why?

So many Fuentes, so little cash!!!!

I agree with the sungrowns, although the double chateau is a bit big, kinda limits when you can smoke it. The cuban beli is the perfect size imho but its not quite the value of the chateau fuente which aren't as good but still mighty tasty.

Depends on your preferences (taste, body, strength).

Don't overlook the various wrapped 858's and the regular Hemi and Don Carlos lines. Heck, go to a brick and mortar and pick out a smorgasboard, you won't regret it.

Single Chateau Fuente gets my vote!

But then again I just got a box of Monte #4's! LOL

Hemingway 'Best Seller', or 'Short Story' ... both reasonabley inexpensive, and much easier to find ... and excellent cigars.

I could smoke an 858 maduro

everyday of the week.

Right size, great taste/less filling

Not less filling.

At $3.50 - $4.00 a cigar you can't beat a Chateau Fuente Sungrown.

At $5 - $6 - The Hemingway Best Seller or Signature or Cuban Beli Sungrown are excellent picks.

After that you get into the pricier Hemmingways and Don Carlos, and finally Anejos and Opus X.

Slim is right on with the Short stories or Best Sellers. Don Carlos Robustos are a great smoke too.

I agree w/ Slim and HarleyRed...Fuente has been my go to cigar for quite a while, and the Best Seller is a current favorite....Short Story is great also, a real finger burner...any Don Carlos...

Thanks guys......lots to consider.

If anyone's got an on-line dealer for Fuentes they'd like to recommend, I'd love to hear about them. You can shoot me an E-mail at vich(at)halcyon(dot)com.

It'd be great if I could support the local smoke shops, but with a 30% to 40% premium cuz of the state taxes I just can't do it.

Another vote here for the short storys. Smoked one last night and it was the first one I have had in a while. It reminded me why I like them so much.
