I'm Suffering from a nasty head cold.. maybe kennel cough 🙂... I have a Saint Bernard bitch and six 12 day old pups from a shelter with kennel cough here.
I rescue homeless Saints in my "spare time".
My ??? are:
Cameroon wrappers: I appreciate that they are moist and "something special". My daily is a Fuente Cubanito.
I've noticed when I smoke into the head they tend to crack and start to unwind.. is this normal???

I assume a "herf" is a get together and smoke cigars... what is the whole word and it's origin.

My question to you is, why just rescue homeless Saints? what about homeless bull mastiffs, or schnauzers. Its just like that at Petsmart today. they asked me to donate to the rescue collie fund. I have a dog and i adopted him from the humane society and did not go there under the pretence of getting a brindle boxer/lab mut. I got him because I wanted a dog and wanted to get one in a way that was humane whatever it is they had. Why pic and choose. Do you pass by the other homeless dogs in search of St. Bernards?

I'm understanding your "handle" would call you a PITA at my practice.
I also work with Bassett Hound rescue and an all breed/mix breed rescue group. Including cats. Saints are a personal interest. I have a young Great Dane born deaf and blind brought to me by dane rescue as a "smooth coated Saint".
We are caring for approximately 20 saints, and 25-30 other homeless animals at this time.
Pat on your back for rescuing a dog.

oh and spent several hours the other day putting a pomerainian's leg back together that the owner abandoned at my practice.

Very good. No PITA here. I'll drink milk and hunt deer and dove till I die. It just amazes me sometimes the bias some have to help one breed and not another, ie the collie group I saw today. Bigots of the dog world.

I'll help you shoot, clean and eat dove and clean and eat deer.. will only shoot them if they are already injured.
Many rescue folks are "out there" I help all of them I can but "can't save them all.

We've had 2 dogs & 4 cats from shelters who've lived with us. BTW, box pressed cigars will be square or rectangular in cross section. Think of overfilling box with soft round cigars and then compressing them to get rid of the air in between. It's probably not how or why they do it, but you can visualize the process and end result. Ironically, even though this wrapper is uniquely American, this leaf is unpopular today.

E.M.S. or English Market Standard wrappers are rich brown in color and are truly the industry standard today. Made popular by English smokers in the 19th century, this wrapper is also known for its variant names such as Claro (somewhat lighter), Colorado (somewhat richer in color), and Natural; a catch-all term for this category. The best E.M.S. wrappers are grown in the Vueleta Abajo region in Cuba, Connecticut, and Cameroon.

Maduro wrappers are now very popular and can be easily spotted by their dark brown to black colors. This color is achieved by allowing the temperature during fermentation to surpass 165 F. This process requires are thicker wrapper to achieve a rich, sweet, smooth flavor that is popular with more experienced smokers looking for more flavor. Other grades of this leaf are known as Double Maduro and Oscuro. The best maduro wrappers come from Connecticut and the San Andreas region of Mexico.

Box-pressed only means it was pressed into a box shaped mold, so you have a square cigar. A lot of people, including myself, like the feel of the box pressed cigar ...
