My current favorite is a PAM (any size) & an Ommegang Abbey Ale (Belgian-style beer brewed in NY). Actually, I think that any full flavored cigar goes great with this beer. What is your current favorite combo?

If I'm really going to enjoy a good cigar, I don't like to drink anything too strong, but I recently really enjoyed a Monte #2 and a Celebrator

Celebrator, is one strong brew. Great with a full bodied smoke, Like an Anejo.

I guess that is why I like the Belgian style of beers with cigars. They tend to be not as overpowering as some of the stouts & porters.

Guiness goes with everything. Maddies, natties, flavoreds, and even breakfast like frosted flakes.

I agree...Bell's Portor is one heck of a beer... And it goes well with almost anything on the dark side...

I don't usually do the beer deal while smokey treatin it but my favs would have to be Paulaner Munich Lager or John Courage. I think they go well with full bodied smokes. Eh, but what the hell do I know, Im just a man trying to make my way in the galaxy....

For a more complex palate try Sam Adamms Triple Bock (expensive but great with an Opus X or another strong cigar).

I haven't zeroed in on a favorite cigar, but the beers I buy most often are Guinness Stout, Red Hook ESB, Sam Adams Boston Lager, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Sounds like beer is the drink of choice with cigars. I can't believe that there isn’t more beer drinking cigar smokers out there. Let me hear some more...even if it is PBR & Swishers ;-}

My favorite pair up...Shiner Bock with a Padron Maddie...or Shiner Bock with a Toraño Signature...or Shiner Bock with...well, you get the idea...

I havent tried any other beer than Rolling Rock with my 'gars. OOpps! Scratch that. i am thinking about going on a diet so i had a Rolling Rock Greenlight too.

I mentioned the beers, but I prefer Scotch (Aberlour a'bunadh) or a good vodka martini (Belvedere or Chopin). MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Even a good guava juice is great with a lighter cigar, oh hell I guess you can give me milk or water and the gar.
