Credit for this method goes to ** rjdc **

Met rjdc at the CI store yesterday and he shared this way of lighting a cigar with me. I've been smoking handrolled cigars for approx. 8 years now and I've NEVER lit my cigar like this. Perhaps this was discussed before and I wasn't paying attention, but this has just become my PREFERRED way of lighting a cigar! I had to share it with the rest of you.

Here's how:

From a lit cigar that you are done with, light your next cigar. Ash the nub, and get it glowing. Now place the foot of your next cigar directly on the lit end of the nub and draw on the new cigar until lit.

Thank you for the tip rjdc! Now I'll be chainsmoking these damn things 🙂

**edit**

Make sure you're DONE with the nub BEFORE lighting the next cigar... I'm still smoking the nub AND keeping the new cigar lit at the same time...

I've now got a smoking problem... 2 cigars and only one mouth 🙂

Hey Heg nice to hear from you.

It's called "piggybacking". I learned about it 30 something years ago from a old timer. It really is the best way to light your gar IMO. Plus you get to smoke more!

I piggyback most of my 6-8 sticks a day. Thank you for the Cupido maddie. Was great! It got Pb'd from a Cusano X, then off the Cupi a Series 55, a Gracliff blue lable torp, then I took a nap.

Glad you like the tip. Nice to see you and your wife, hope see won't hold your new found trick against me!
