Guys, Gals, and E-chick!

My Dad once said to me, "Son...sometimes you just gotta blend in with the woodwork." Well I've been doing that for months now, but I've never posted.

I've been buying from C-bid for several months now...and yes, my lovely finace' is reconsidering our upcoming September wedding if I buy one more cigar. It trully is the greatest AND most addictive site on the internet, and I have the humidor, and overflow tupperdors to prove it!

I just thought I would post a quickie to say thanks for letting me hang out. Hopefully I can bring a new view, or a few laughs to the table.

rasdas and all:

Thanks for the greetings!

Re: Cooler'dor. That would be grounds for immediate divorce (and we aren't even married.) Our agreement is as follows, "if it's not a real humidor, it must fit under the bed!" We have a townhouse with very little storage.

Re: Smoking now...Nothin' but if your employer allows you to to smoke at the job, please get me an application. I do however work very close to **don't know if this is appropriate** (It wasn't) in DC. That my new-friends is a welcome oasis for many-a-luncheon-smokes!

I have a Padron #4000 in the car to burn on the way home after the train. She loves it when I show up all smoky.

Guys:

Sorry for the double post. We are still recovering from the Sasser-worm, and the internet keeps timing out when attempting to post

Welcome Club,

Enjoy the madhouse. Yes my ex told me it was her, or the cigars. I don't even miss her.

Welcome, Craig.

Don't worry 'bout the double posting thing. Happens all the time, even to the FOGs worm or no worm.

I too welcome you to the boards Craig.

As for your fiance, introduce her to the CAO Flavours, Kaluha, or better yet . . . ACID, and before you know it, she will want another humidor too!!!

Marla:

You've got more double-entendres with you than an episode of Threes Company.....and I LOVE IT!

Coda: That is SWEET, and pretty close to what I have, sans see-through lid. I like the "inner-basket" feature as well. Did you get those at Wal-Mart too?

Welcome to the asylum, Craig ... as for the question you DIDN'T ask (cello on or cello off), you may already be aware that whichever way you opt to go, there will be those here who endorse your choice and those who'll say you're doing it wrong ... there IS, however, almost* uniform agreement among us that if you are a "cello-on" guy, be sure to remove it BEFORE lighting your cigar ...

*only eleltea leaves it on when lighting up ... he says he likes the pretty colors that ensue

Craig,

The inner baskets were from WalMart, real cheap, but they aren't perfect. They're made to "nest" when empty, so if double stacked the top basket would be resting on the cigars in the basket underneath. Better is boxes on bottom layer, baskets on top for loose ones. Best would be nice, large cedar trays.
