How come it takes me sooo darn long to decide what to smoke? Does everyone else have the same problem, and what makes you select a certain smoke when you go to grab one? I know everyone has their own preference and taste, but I can't be the only one that takes a long time deciding. How many different cigars do you pick before deciding on that final smoke?

Sometimes I know right away what I want, and other times I sit there and ogle a few cigars before I finally settle on one.

my wife makes fun of me because I have to oggle and fondle so many cigars before deciding. Time has a lot to do with it. Also, if there's going to be any amount of contact with my wife later (haven't had to worry about that recently) then I need to pick out a mild one, after a big meal, I'll go for a strong one or if I want to drink something in particular I'll try to pair it, golfing requires one that can hold up under chomping, etc. sometimes you're craving that 'twang', etc..... variety is the spice of life!

I've noticed that when I'm not really craving a cigar, but want some down time and relaxation that I get when I do smoke a cigar, I'll look through my humidors and hem and haw, and I have a harder time finding just the right one. But when I'm looking forward to smoking a gar it takes me very little time to decide what I want and most times I know before I go to the humi.

what al said, depends on mood and what I am doing. Made the mistake of grabbing an LPH Black Pearl when I went out to till my garden yesterday. Way too much inhaling and I had to toss it about 2/3s in.

Depends on where I'm going, who's gonna be there, who's gonna mooch a smoke, what do I feel like, etc, etc...

I used to bring one out with me... now I almost always bring the 5 ct. OtterBox... because of the above reasons...

LMAO at John.

I never know what I am gonna smoke, and I ususally just grab a Padron 3000 maddie, Torano Sig, or Oliva. I have been reaching for a lot of small ISOM lately.

How many people clip a cigar or two, and then never get around to smokin it? I have atleast 10 clipped cigars that I had for herfs, or decided before lighting that I wanted somethin else. Or....maybe I am just slow.LOL

the only stick i've ever clipped and never smoked was one SLR that felt tight to me, I clipped it, gave a gentle pre-light puff and got ZERO air out of it and then stuck it in the dry box for two days and then lit it up. It was horrible. I've now concluded that if you clip the ends off and then don't smoke them - their ruined. You can send yours to me and I'll dispose....
