I just invested in a rather large assortment of cigars and will be storing them in my humidor. I live in NC, where it is quite humid. My humidor is reading 80 deg. Is this too humid for the cigars? If so how do I lower the humidity?

You're growing bugs... go to the pic board and look at the firdgeadoors. Use Rice or climax beads to keep the humidity.

The little "baggie" (dessecant) in electronics gear, etc works well too. I use them in a beach house, usually get me the magic 70% (not degrees) when the house is near 90.

BTW, I find long-term storage (how many did you get?) seems better at about 66%.

I purchased: 12 Black Beauty #2 Maduro Sampler, 10 CAO L'Aniversario Sampler, 5 Onix #642 and 5 Bahia Maduro Pancho's.

Thanks for all of the tips!!!! Much appreciated!
