Ok, we were very surprised to learn that we will be joining rob with 4 kids. My wife believes that she has to announce each birth in a unique way and she is at a loss for this one. So here is the deal:

submit a unique way to anounce the birth of my 4th child - send it to [email protected] or post it here. It must be inexpensive. She is also posting this on some baby site so she could pick one of those so there may not be a winner - maybe a consolation prize though.

The winner will get a 5 pack of good smokes ie, Torano, CAO, LPH, AF. Contest closes 5/28.

Past announcements
1st child - she presented each future grandparent/aunt/uncle with a framed ultrasound picture
2nd child - 1st child wore an I'm a big brother shirt to Christmas dinner
3rd child - I do not remember, sorry CRS

I would go with the T-shirt idea too, but I would have each one say "Big Brother" or "Big Sister". See how long it takes them to figure out why the youngest is wearing one too.

get one of those BABY ON BOARD shirts with an arrow pointing down to belly you see. And have her wear it to the next family picnic this summer 🙂

if the tshirt idea is old then try the following:

take parents out to eat and make reservations for everyone plus 1/2. So when they announce "bassdude party of 7 1/2" they should catch on

First off CONGRATULATIONS MAN!

Don't know how you do it, I am just starting to get back to normal and I only have 2 (6mo and 2yrs.) 4!! Gives me a headache just thinking about it.

How about Photoshopping up a label for a wine bottle (or beer bottle, like I sent you) that has a family photo of all of you and the wife holding a baby (doll) then serve the wine at a big dinner for your inlaws.

I'm the oldest of six...when my mom told us that she was having her sixth, she asked me what would you rather have...a baby or a new car. My response was "as long as the car doesn't have vinyl seats" Not exactly the best response. She looked at me for a long time and said "tough your getting another brother or sister" I don't think she'll ever let me live that down. Congrats man big families are great.

If you have the ultrasound video on VHS or some other video format. Send it to me and I'll edit a short clip, put music to it and put it on DVD for you. If she is gonna go get and ultra sound, ask if they can videotape it. Its best at an earlier stage when the entire baby fits on the escreen and it wiggles around alot. I have done this for a few friends.

My other idea is:
Kid #1 (age wise) wears a shirt that says "The Oldest, Not the Youngest"
Kids #2 & #3 wears shirts that say "Not the Oldest, Not the Youngest"

And see if they catch on...
