Well guys, I've been on here for awhile now. Needless to say, I've been sucked in that black hole now called "Cigarbid.com." I've bidded on a bunch of cigars and am still hard pressed to find an everyday cigar. I've tried a few dominican and nicaraguan bundles and to no avail, have done nothing for me. I'm very particular to Punch's, Hojo's, and just recently Miami Havana's. Which by the way, if anybody likes to try a new Sunday mornin' cigar...try those Miami Havana's, you'll be surprised.

Fenway, you need to give a price range and what type of cigar ie: full strength, medium or mild and maybe maduro or natural. Just narrow the target a bit. Thanks, Charlie

Go for the Aristoffs. You can get CT, or Maduro and you can choose blends. The Oliva Grand Cameroons and Maduros are great, and the Mayorga is also a great smoke. All are under $50 a box. Otherwise, keep bidding on 5 packs and let us know when you find a gem. Go Sox!

try the leyenda's. how can you go wrong for 7 cents a cigar. i'm smoking one now and it isn't a bad cigar. i have a few boxes left so i ordered 20 more. 200 cigars. the monte a's from isom were $750.00 for 25 now i will have 225 cigars for an average price of $3.40 including some (25) of the world's best cigars. it's all in the numbers.

Try the La Finca Joya(6X50,E,Nicaragua,medium to full-bodied cigar). A box of 25 can be had for less than $35.00. Todog

LaFinca is an excellent choice for an everyday smoke at the right price...cheap! Baccarat, a milder cigar, is also very good and can be had for less than $40 a box! Try the Luchadores (6 X 43) and the Robustos. Charlie

Thanx for the input guys, greatly appreciated. Charlie, basically I could go for a cigar in the range of let's say about $7 a stick. As to how strong and what color, I'd have to go with mild and definately a maduro. I fell in love w/ punch's dc maduro, nummy! I can't do a peppery/spicy cigar, so let's stick w/ the (this is gonna sound really horrible so bear w/ me) creamy, nutty taste, cocoa taste. (NO COMMENTS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY! LOL) And about those Leyenda's, I'm kinda skeptical. Granted that's a steal for .75, but how **** can a cigar be? I don't wanna smoke something that's gonna smell like a trash bag full of **** that's on fire. Gotta run guys, work's a callin!

I'd recommmend trying Maria Mancini, I think you will enjoy them and they are much less than 7 bucks a piece, a price thats more of a "special occasion" cigar for me.

I do not think of $5.00 and above as everyday smokes, and yes, I do not want them to smell up the entire area like a bag of s--t that is on fire! The Maria Mancini is a very good smoke, but if you want mild then go for the Baccarat they are beautifully made and run between 40 and 60 bucks for a box! If you go to the $7 range, then it is limitless: Ashton, Macanudo Robust, AVO (stronger), Arturo Fuente, Romeo & Julieta, etc.....All are very good. In that range I prefer the Henry Clay line of cigars! Charlie

todog you are right about the la finca's. years ago, when cigar affecianado rated them, they were second only to a cuban. at that time, during the "cigar boom" when all the cigars were overpriced, these were less than $2.00. they are excellent cigars.

An El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga is one of my favorite smokes... and quite affordable, at $4.00 or less per stick. I am surprised it doesn't get more mention or press, as a great cigar.

I can't stand the Henry Clay line of box-pressed H2000 wrapped cigars...Yuck...They're wayyy too mild for my taste...Gimme a nice Brevas Conserva anyday with that beautiful rustic maduro Broadleaf wrapper....YUMMY!!

The ERDM Robusta Larga and the ERDM Rectangulares in maduro are two of the finest smokes available. Toss in the Excalibur Prensados and you're in heaven. A full flavored yet mild bodied maduro would be Internationals.

7 bucks apiece for an everyday smoke? I must be doing something wrong... But like Rick says, it's all in the math. Rick and I always agree 🙂

I was reading in Smoke or CA how before the embargo that Cuban cigars were selling for less than $10.00 a box! Wow, what an everyday smoke that would be and that JFK's everyday cigar was H Upmann Pettite Coronas!
The La Perla Habana is another good cigar to try. Charlie

Hey guys, I seem to be gettin dogged for my price of an everyday smoke. Maybe I forgot to mention that I was in Alaska and things up here are way over priced. Yes, I am a trust fund baby, but when it comes to cigars I don't like to be a tight wad. A macanudo robust Hyde Park up here will run you just about 6.50 a pop. Any partagas stick will run you about 10 bucks. I just tried a cuban bullet and all I can say is GROSS! Right now I'm smoking a Monterey maduro dc and it's very very nice. BTW, I'm gonna go check out that tampasweetheart site...I'll let ya know what I think. GO RED SOX!

FenwayKid, maybe for you and Tailgater, the Red Sox will win a World Series during this millenium! The ghost of Bill Buckner will forever haunt Fenway and he will forever be cursed by any true Red Sox fan. Before I get yelled at for this "sports" reply on the cigar board, the pricing you outlined for Alaska is about on par with the cigar prices in California. This is why I buy most (95%) of my cigars from CI/CB and a couple of other outfits that I will not mention on this posting. Now let's get political, as the California sin tax (robbery) is outlandish and has driven most of our tobacconist out of business. It is tough living in California and trying to be a cigar smoker!
