Why is it that in a bar a they will ask a person to stop smoking the cigar but they have no problem with the person smoking the cigarettes.

I was in a bar in Oklahoma City last weekend & everyone, it seemed, was puffing away on cigarettes. I lit up this little Monte I had with me & started getting a few ugly looks. It just made that cigar taste that much better as I smoked it to the nub.

Go figure. A lot of non-smokers like the smell of a pipe, but a lot of cigarette smokers hate the smell of a cigar, while cigarettes smell and taste worse than either of the other two. I just don't get it.

Definately be glad you can still smoke indoors where you live! Here in Oregon you can't smoke in any enclosed building...

This one of the great mysteries of life... I would much rather enjoy cigar or pipe smoke than cigarettes... My only theory is that the amount of smoke per person is much more... but I don't understand the difference when you only have a handful of cigar and pipe smokers to a room full of cigarette smokers...?????????

I used to like the smell of cigarette smoke until I started smoking cigars. If I am smoking one and someone else is having a cigarette nearby it makes me sick

Whenever I am at a place that won't let cigar smokers puff away, I go to cigarillos. I almost never get harrassed when smoking a tin of Nat's so long as I keep the tin out of sight.

If I start getting harrassed with my Nat's, then I think I will go to handrolled cigarettes.

What bar in OKC? Glad i live here in NW Oklahoma. The bars around let me smoke as much as i want,and nobody has ever complained. Oh,it helps to know the bouncers too. Heeheee 🙂
