I got this cigar today.

It just says Bucanero, made in Nicaragua.

Hadn't seen this one before.

What a great looking cigar and I am sorry to say, I just couldn't bring myself to put it away.

I know, I should have let it rest for a bit, but I am weak, as I just had to light it up.

What a yummy cigar. Beautiful construction, great draw and awesome taste. It was great right off the start, nice even burn and was tremendous throughout.

Thanks to hensed.

Sounds like a Classico Maduro (Cream band with red foil lettering), one of my all time favorite and daily go to cigars. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. If you try the El Capitan Maduro or the Peg Leg I'm sure you'll enjoy them if you enjoyed the CM. If your tastes tend to fuller bodied fuller flavored you might try the "Salsa", the "Z", and the "Full Sail" in the Bucanero line also. Now slide that patch down over one eye and give a good pirates cheer matey.....aarrrrrrgh

Yes, a cream colored band with red foil lettering.

That'd be the one.

Looks like Low's link is it.

I have had the Z, full sail and the Salsa, but hadn't seen this one before.

I really like the Z, but this one was "crisper", for the lack of a better word. : )

Sorry, John. All I saw was I could win a fiver for 17 and I bid. After that I saw that I had taken one from you.

The first one I tried was in my birthday package from Smelly. I love them.

By the way, they seem to have changed the band to a silver background.

Just got a box of Full Sail Maduros yesterday. Gonna take one or two out of the box and ship the rest off to the troops.

What do you guys think of the new Classico band? I really liked the clean simplicity of the cream and red straight band. The new one is more like the Full Sail and Peg Leg bands. Shaped, with a black band that expands to a silver shield front. There is a three masted ship with the name Classico Maduro beneath it. The Bucanero name and the ship are in red.

At first I didn't like it, but now it's starting to grow on me. Something about pirates and the silver and black. . . Aaaahrrg, it's Raider colors!

Oh yeah, and they come wrapped in cello now, too.
