Hi all. I know this is totally subjective, but what do you all think about this brand? As I seem to love almost all the Perdomos I try I really want to give this one a shot too (especially since it's Cameroon, mmm). I've been having a hard time trying to get one though. I even emailed the manufacturer a few times to try to buy one but I guess I wasn't able to get through to them.

Any thoughts on this brand though? And have you ever seen it here on Cigarbid?

This is one of my current favorites. It's very flavorful, but not overpowering. CBid had them , but I haven't seen them in a while.

This is one of my favorites as well! My local dealer carries them all the time, not too bad on price. I'll usually pick one up at lunch time for smoking on her porch. Let me know if you don't find one, would be more than happy to get one to send to you. Worth trying for sure.

These are great smokes and I just bought a box that is pretty much gone now. The Corona's are great.

Dear 428cj

Casamontez was a very old Cuban Brand that we brought out a couple of years ago. The reason it is so hard to get was that we sold them only to T.A.A members (Tobacconist association of America)and there are only 100 stores in America. Staring in August we will sell them to all of our retailers in America. If you e-mail me I will assist you in anyway I can to get you some. They are a great cigar.

Best Regards.

Nick

Wow, well many thanks again to Dave and Nick, greatly appreicated.

I may have found a way, a friend will be in Miami soon and will stop by the Perdomo shop for me. Hopefully that will work. If not I'll try the emails.

Thanks again though!

A very good cigar at an even better price. I had my first at a local tasting several months ago and loved it. It has such a great flavor to it, and was on the mild to medium side. That is the only downfall, but it makes for a great breakfast/lunch cigar.

Enjoy!

Wow! A personal message from Big Nick himself...

I have had a few of the Casa Montez and they are a well-constructed medium smoke with some flavor. Good mid-day smoke.
