The CI special on Warhol's looks pretty good. . . . My girlfriend only likes mild cigars, so I won a fiver for 5 bucks, just to have her try them. . . . she just smoked one, and enjoyed it - so I tried it, and I was kinda surprised - it's certainly not very complex or has much taste, but I'll tell you, if you're looking for a mild smoke, they aren't bad. I would use them as yard gars, and keep a stash on hand to hand out to friends - they all seem to like mild cigars. My girl could have one when she's in a cigar mood. . . .

For less than a buck a stick, I think I'll pick up a bundle or two. . .

so, anyone else have any experience or opinions on these?

interesting. Being a guy who is a total sucker for packaging, I thought that these looked ridiculous. Maybe I'll give them a shot. Although, now that I've been smoking for about a year, I find the mild ones aren't as good anymore.

I won a 5-pack here a few years back ...

... totally uneventful ...

... and I never bought them again.

Oh, and to be honest? I wouldn't even hand these out to friends ... if I wanted them to remain friends ... 😉

... maybe the 'cigar moochers' who never seem to have their own ...

I totally agree with slim. I appreciate my friends too much and will never subject them to these cigars due to their inexperience. If I did I am sure they would be less likely to enjoy one with me in the future even if it were a good smoke

hmmm. . . guess I'll have to bite the bullet and actually smoke one to see. . . . I only had a couple of puffs, and I guess what surprised me wasn't that it was good, but just that it didn't suck. . . . most people I would share with, tend to smoke once a year at a stag party or something. . . . usually my friends don't like better cigars, because they make them sick to their stomachs. . . . mild and tasteless usually is a safe bet. . . .

. . thanks for the input, I may keep away from them for now. . .

What is up with you guys? Just because a cigar is mild and one dimensional... it has to be rated as a disgraceful cigar???

I hate to tell you this... but many of us who have smoked for a while still like a mild cigar on the golf course early or when working in the yard. Baccarat Belicosa, Macanudo Hyde Park and AVO and The Griffins come to mind.

If you really want to impress your buddy... light him up a PAM (pick a size) at 9 o'clock in the morning on an empty stomach and see how long he calls you friend.

Cigar Wonks. Not everyone is an "afficianado."

Grond is absolutely right-Most of my serious cigar smoker friends and I like to keep some mild stogies in regular rotation. Just because a cigar isn't a powerhouse of flavor dosen't mean it isn't a good smoke in it's own right. Baccarats, Helix natural, Santa Damiana I smoke often...when I'm in the mood, not necessarily in the morning or while golfing.

I bought a bundle of Warhols about 2 years ago and it is THE WORST cigar I have gotten from Cbid. Not mild, it was completely tasteless. After a year of ageing no change so I gave them away. I would recommend the regular Astral line or the Don Juan Platinum as mild cigars that are extremely well made and tasty. They are great morning smokes and don't cost alot more than the Warhols IMHO.

You know, one man's ceiling is another man's floor. Some of the stuff I used to smoke & like would now be something that just takes up room in the humidor while I smoked around it. I have gotten rid of these.

My boss hust loved the Sinatra 'My Way' belicoso that I thought had no flavor back when I liked mild. I ended up giving him most of a box.
