Pardon my ignorance here, but what is this new wrapper? I can't seem to find much info on it. It isn't a rosado, is it?

For anyone who's tried it how do you think it compares to the old rosados of the La Tradicion Perdomo Reserve line?

It's a Nicaraguan shade grown wrapper. I believe the rosados are from Ecuador.

You are correct. The new Cuban Cafe wrapper is a reddish brown Corojo seed wrapper. I believe it is one of the most beautiful wrappers of today with a very special flavor. I love the new taste and I believe you will all enjoy it very much.

Regards.

All I can say is I just got in my two five-packs I won of the Cuban Cafe Cabinet Reserves, and I've packed 'em for my cruise! I also put some of them, and the maduros, and my last two cameroons into as "time capsule" that I haven't labeled with contents (so as not to tempt myself!) and I'll not open it for at least a year. All I can say about the La Traditions is YUM!

Got a bundle of 'rejects' coming. I'll post when I get them. I think the cafe's are a replacement for the rosado? Which would make them white bands.
