In my limited research, I've found the largest ring guages on regular production hand rolled cuban cigars range from 47-50. Similarly the largest ring guages on regular production Dom., Hon. and Nic. cigars range from 54 to 60. Does anyone know of larger ring guage cuban hand rolled cigars in regular production, meaning not a special or limited production run? I appreciate all information offered.

Cuaba Salomones (54 ring gauge) & the #2's (e.g. Monty, etc...) are 52 ring gauge.

When going to ISOMs don't automatically assume that you need to go with big ring guages just because that is what you smoke in Non-Cubans. Actually the 42-47s are very tasty indeed. There has to be some basis for the Montie #4 5x42 being the worlds number one selling Cuban?

hensed beat me to it - why do you want a large ring gauge?? Many recent cubans draw more openly (euphemism for 'loose') than in the past and most pack plenty of punch. The body of a typical robusto such as psd4 or epicure 2 is about as full as any large ring gauge stick out there. But to answer your question - what Buckweat said - most No.2's/Piramides are 52 - that's the biggest I've seen besides Salamones

I do have an inmenso that's pluming nicely if you want it....

Yes I agree....

Monte #4 is one of my personal fav ISOM choices, PSD4 is the other,

But the gift idea requires something bigger...

Nothing larger in regular production.
