Doesn't a last-second bid extend the auction by 5 minutes?

Yep OG it does in fact extend another 5 minutes.. the 5 minutes Diceman waisted posting his open feelings to the forum as to how he got Hosed instead of (if I really want this one and not wait for the next one, I'll Screw whoever on his bid) bidding again...

it's a two-way street ... there've been times I bid on more lots than I really wanted with the idea that I'd lose some of them, only to actually win them all ... "where's all the overbidders when you need them most?" I've asked myself as I got my my "so many "good deals" explanation ready for MrsS ...

LOL, I'm over it. LOL I guess if I really want the cigars I'll just camp out at my computer all day. "What a life" Thanks for your replies

Dice, just use autobid, set your max, if you get outbid, hit them again the next time they come up. If you continue to get outbid over a period of months, then you may be bidding too low.
