i know what you mean about the software, my old computer all i had to do was right click on a pic and it gave me three sizes to pick from,now i have a photo editing program and it is a lot harder to resize.

Speckled Trout? Joking aside,that is what we use for bate on the annual trip to Lake Fork. Those bass love them critters.

Maybe not the size you have. But ive hooked up a 2 pounder for bait before. Try throwing that sucker a few times. It will wear you out after a day of fishing.

Just don't let the Game Warden catch you using a game fish for bait, very illegal. How do you get Speckled trout alive 200 miles from the coastline? Personally I'd rather eat the 2 pound Speck and buy some big waterdogs for those big Lake Fork Bass, or Crappie fish with shinners like the record holders do, LOL.

Actually it's the local guides you have to worry about. They get pissed if they see you useing live bait of any kind.

My bad. It's not speckled trout we use. It's Rainbow Trout.

nice mess of specks they are just starting to show back up in the bay here.but i did gig 8 nice flounders saturday night.

top for bassdude, not bass but damn good fish.

we used live mud puppies at Fork and so did the guides. We use wild shiners at Okeechobee.

Then we located a huge school of crappie and csught the hell out of them on shiners. every one of em over 2 lbs and some over 4lbs.

I love to eat trout.
