This has always been one of my favorite pictures of our 40th President

I watched during the presidents arival in Washington and at first I was a little taken aback when I saw the croud cheering and clapping at the passing procession. Not at all like the subdued atmosphere during the Kennedy and Johnson processions. Then the News anouncer said that the people were there to celebrate the life of a great american. What a wonderful tribute, and a fitting goodby.

Ironic... I joined the Military under Reagan...
I was Retired 9 June 2004 Honorably... I will be transfered to the (Medicaly Retired Active Reserves on 11 June 2004 the day they lay the man to rest....

watching his funeral today, I broke down into tears on more than one occasion. He was truly a leader that inspires and uplifts. One who had the courage to step beyond the political correctness and safe policies to do what was right. May he and his family be comforted in this time of sorrow. God bless him and may he sleep comfortably with those that have passed on before him

As a tribute to President Reagan in the paper(St.Paul Pioneer Press), it has been said they might put him on the $10 bill. It could be before the year is out or next year. The strongest case for that is Hamilton was NOT a President, but the first Secretary of the Treasury.

a celebration of life that is a great way to describe it. Especially when you have such a great life as Ronald Reagan. As it was said so many times over this past week and especially today, a funeral is for the living, to take time out and reflect on the life of their loved one, friend, leader, etc. We are able in some small way to show our respect to someone that made or at least tried to make a difference for us and for those around the world. As a few reporters said today, you may not have agreed with him in one thing or another, but the respect was there, regardless. May God restore President Reagan and make him whole again and may He bring His healing grace to Nancy and Patty, Ron and Michael.

May he drink blood with the Devil. Having produced so much of it under his presidency, he should be most comfortable there.

The greatest President of the 20th century hands down. Rest in Peace Mr. president.

mhpd, I think with statments like you have been making a proper name fitting for you would be "Barney Fife" beins hows and ifins you really is a peace officer and carry a gun.. you evedently never been in a danger area of your career?? your jacked up statements about picking flowers and peace before war etc etc choke..etc..
