I converted one of my cabinets into a humidor. It has two glass doors and the inside of which, I lined with cedar sheeting. It holds about 40 of so boxes of my favorite smokes. But being that I don't have any shelving the boxes are just randomly stuffed into the humidor. What I'm looking for is Spanish Cedar strips. I guess something like a 1" x 2" so I can make slated shelving. I can find sheets of cedar on the web, but haven't come across strips of cedar. (in case your not sure what I mean, picture furring strips that you nail paneling, or wall boards to) Does anyone know of a place were I can pick this up. Thanks to all who help.

There must be a specialty lumber store somewhere by you. They have big chunks of the stuff! Get 'em to mill you some 1/2" boards. Cut 'em to fit. if there is nothing near you, I feel your pain brother! I used to live in Tennessee! LOL!

Why not get the sheets, cut them to length & width, then either route or cut slits in them.

(Wow, I actually remember something I learned in High School!)

Try www.rockler.com. They've got spanish cedar in various sizes. Good luck on your project and post pics!
