Does anyone know if the Gran Habanos on auction now are the same ones that everyone was raving about a few months ago? The band looks different.

the gran habano #5's are excellent. i made a post or two concerning them a couple months ago. great smoke!

I had a #5 today and I enjoyed it

The Habano blend is the black box. The red is Coriojo and the green is Connecticut wrapper. I think the one you are referring to was the black and gold band that was either an older version or a lesser price version. These retail for around $4.00- $4.50 per stick. I hope this helps.

Yes, I was thinking of the one with the gold and black band that came in the natural wood box. Thanks for your help. Any other input? Is this the same company?

Same company, they've changed the packaging around to more colorful bands and boxes.

Thanks, Keith!

I tried one of these in a smokeshop recently and liked it. I think it was a corojo wrapper, but they had several different styles available.

Just had my 1st #3 and it I enjoyed it down to the cap. Gonna have to try the other blends soon.

The gran habano #5 torpedo is an excellent smoke!!!

I just recieved two boxes and I am making them a permanent fixture in my everyday smokes...

PUFF, PUFF, GIVE...HEHEHE
