Seriously....please run all this stuff through Snopes before posting. I didn't verify the quote, but I did do the receipt.

No offense to you, but this quote popped into my mind.
“It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”

Please verify this stuff.

Well, point #1 would be that this story is a hoax...it was originally reported by the New York Post, which has since published a retraction of the original story since they found out that actually, Michelle Obama was not even staying at the Waldorf.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/10212008/gossip/pagesix/room_disservice_134490.htm

Point #2: I find it very interesting that the same people who are going to town on this story are the one's who were defending Mccain when he didn't even remember the number of houses his family owns, and even today said specifically that it doesn't matter how a person spends their money because that is a personal decision (in defence of Cindy McCain's 300k convention outfit). You people couldn't recognize right wing hypocracy if it bombed your house with cigars.

Holy crap! People who have been working the campaign trail *gasp* ordered room service?

Oh, and I can't possibly see myself voting for someone who has ever eaten lobster.

Thank you very much for point this out.

BTW, do you happen to know whether either of the candidates has ever used Lemon Pledge instead of Endust, too? My voting decision hangs in the balance.
