A friend of mine gave me one of this,2 Montecristo#2 and 4 Gauntanmera Cristales today he just came back from a trip. I've never tried any of these before.

i've not had a monte isom -- what did you think of 'em?i've had one each of the robaina and guantanamera, though, and i enjoyed both very, very much. i predict that you will, too. 🙂

Umm...I'd give them more time if it was me. Store them at 65% for at least a few weeks. Them be some fine smokes and you want to make sure their smoking in their prime.

I agree with Ethan... smoke 'em about the 4th of July or later and you should have some damn fine smokes!

I just plowed through a December box. The Robaina's really need some time, at least 3 - 6 mo's if just off the boat. Mine got better and better right up til end of May, when I smoked the last one. The first couple of months were just ok.
