Okay folks I had an idea for a type of trade. Being a newbie I’m not sure if this is a good idea, feedback would be appreciated.

I’m was sitting there looking at my humis last night trying to figure out where to put my latest CBID delivery and thinking that it’s time to “fire away” at some B/SOTL…but who? Then I got to thinking, wouldn’t it be nice if someone gave me a target? I could be like a "hit man". Here's where my mind started rambling barely coherent thoughts of a new pass. So here is what I was thinking in terms of rules.


Step 1: The “hit man/woman” must in fact state that they are a “gun for hire” and provides an email address.


Step 2: It then takes two people to solicit a contract with the gun for hire. These two people will be called “bosses”.


Step 3: One boss must post on the thread that they would like to take out a contract on “so and so”. The other boss must agree, by stating that “I would also like to take out a contract on “so and so”. Once two bosses have agreed on one person “the mark” to take a hit from the hit man, and the hit man agrees to do the deed, the contract is out and there is no turning back. (Contracts can be solicited up until two bosses agree on one mark, in theory you could have 10 bosses trying to solicit a contract on 10 different marks until two of them agree.)


***One small catch, the mark can cancel the hit by simply stating that today is not a good day to be fired upon. If the hit is cancelled another mark must be named…refer to step 3.


Step 4: Once the contract is formed, the hit man has a reasonable amount of time to carry out the contract. The hit man is responsible for obtaining the mark’s snailer, usually by contacting the mark personally. The contract must be fulfilled by firing 6 rounds of ammo (aka 6 cigars) at the mark.


Step 5: Once you have been marked (see step 3), you are now the hit man. And you have 24 hours to state that you “are a gun for hire”, “have gun will travel”, “looking for a mark” or some other terminology to get the point across. And the process is repeated.


This allows for people to gang up on someone and to get payback for being bombed. These rules aren’t firm and I would welcome any suggestions. It is important to note that I haven’t had my medication today and I watch too many mafia movies.


Does this interest anybody or do I just have too much time on my hands?

Was is still a great idea. It is very similar to what you are talking about, though maybe a little easier?

It is similar to the bouncing bomb, but the distinction is that other's get to tell you who to fire upon.



It just seems like it would be that much more of a bomb if you knew that two Bros had singled you out a put out a contract on you.

I think that it would be even cooler if the bosses contracting the hitman didn't post the name of the mark to the boards, that way it could be even more secretive...

From here on it will be a secret, the only tricky part is for us newb's who do not have a large database of snailer's yet. How do I get around that? For example if I were to hit one of our odiferous brothers?

Also, if it was a secret should they just be made aware when they are hit? Then inform the boards after they are hit that they have been hit, disclosing the bosses, and that they are now the hit man and are looking to whack someone. The 24 hour clock starts ticking after the package is received. Does this sound good? I think I like it.

It might work G. The 2 allied bosses would have to provide pertinent info to the hitman, such as, the snailer of the mark. This would still insure the security of omerta.

I think maybe what you need for secrecy maybe a "boss of bosses," who appoints revolving, or permanent, underbosses (in secret). He would have their e-mail addresses & they would only report to the big boss with their recommendations for the hits. He could then approve or deny the hits. Catch 22 is even bosses may be hit. Maybe even the boss of bosses! Yeah! A revolt!

OK the first contract is set, the mark has been identified. I will be doing the hit as soon as I gather a few more details, but rest assured someone's getting whacked soon!
