All those people are having fun. Flying kites, lighting off fireworks and having cookouts.

The surf was extremely calm, but Long Beach is alot calmer than the Oregon side, which is 10 miles south.
Long Beach holds one of the largest kite festivals in the world.
We had a big bon fire with alot of drift wood and had loads of fireworks to light off. It was great!
Funny that we live less than 2 miles from the beach, yet the 4th of July is one of the few times a year that we go to the beach. LOL!

It was one of the 25 days per year it doesn't rain.
That is the thing about the NW, when it ain't raining, it is awesome. LOL!
