Maybe it's just a case of poor taste-buds on my part, but I recently purchased a box of Cohiba Robusto cigars [with Republica Domincana written on the yellow/black label] -- at an incredibly discounted price -- and they're an outstanding smoke! From what I have read, it's a cigar that was intended for sale only in the Dominican, but is now being sold on the US market.
I've gone through the box of 25 robustos and have added another 5 boxes of the Jibaritos [6x50] to my coolerdor. Every one I've smoked to date has been constructed in a high-quality fashion and smoked superbly -- firm roll, quality cap, steady smooth draw and an even burn every time. Add to that a solid medium-bodied taste and IMHO this is one helluva cigar!!! Maybe not up to speed with the ISOM version or General's red dot -- and I've smoked both -- but mighty darn close for these "not very good" sticks that come at very reasonable price.

Anyone else had the same experience with these sticks?
