Just started cigar smoking and am new to the board. I had only tried a couple of cigars in the past and did not like them. A couple of months ago a friend shared an Acid #1 with me and now I'm going nuts over this new habit/hobby. I got a humidor and have about 50 cigars in it, which includes a half of box of Acid #1, as well as a variety of other cigars, mainly purchased from Cbid. Not being an experienced smoker, I can't really talk about the finer points of the Acid #1, but I know that it tastes great to me. I've tried some of the other Acid cigars from their sampler pack. Some I like and others I don't. Another general thing I've discovered is that there are more cigars that I dislike than ones that I like. Anyway, I have not seen the Acid #1 on cigarbid, but I would give it a try if you get the chance.

Wow, talk about making a point Unclebill! Never cared much for Acid's, in fact do not like them at all, and I would be interested to hear what you like and dislike of the cigars you have tried in your short encounters with the world of cigars and opinions (that we all have) about them! unklebill appears to be nervous or has computer trouble. sometimes this site takes forever. cwhyte: i like the acids also and i put the packing leaves, (sometimes i spray them with distilled water) in a seperate cigar jar with some cheap but fairly decent smokes. the cigars will pick up that beautiful aroma.

I would like to know which cigars you don't like as well.Havee you ever smoked a urinal block? Wise up newbie and go for some long filler cigars from Nicaragua. By the way make sure you store the acids seperate (incase you haven't heard)

My advice would be to keep the Acids in a bla bla bla bla bla. As I've said before, Acids are like smoking your grandmas' hair.

cwyte, as you can see you get both sides of the pole when it comes to Acids and Lars Tetans, both of which I would not put in any of my humidors. Charlie PS Try some Padrons, Henry Clays, Ashtons, and Bacarrats.

joedayan, "Wise up newbie and go for some long filler cigars from Nicaragua" not to bust your bubble, but the ACID #1 is a long filler cigar, and it IS from Nicaragua. Aren't YOU the newbie around here? BTW, the Acid 1 is IMO the BEST of the ACID line. joedayan, you do have good taste in pointing out the Nicaraguans though, so bravo to you 🙂
