I bid and won a fiver of Belinda Black Epicures. The Blacks have an extra dark, sun-grown Medio Tiempo wrapper.

When I got the cigars they were as pale as Heather Graham. I think they are natural wrapped Belinda Epicures, I know they are not the Belinda Blacks, I have smoked them before.

Trish, in response to my first email, said they only have one Belinda Black with a sun-grown wrapper, not a light and a dark. I wrote back that I believe someone mislabeled the natural Belindas as Belinda Blacks.

Since I bid on and won a fiver of Belinda Blacks with a dark sun-grown wrapper and I was sent a pale, natural wrapped cigar, I feel I should either get the dark wrapped sticks or I should get my money back.

Trish has failed to respond to three subsequent emails. The first email was sent on July 2nd. The fourth was sent on the 12th.

I always am aware of the possibility that I am wrong. Does the Belinda Black come in a pale natural wrapper or only in the dark sun-grown? Has anyone else won the "Belinda Black Epicures"? What did you get?

If CBid does not have the cigar that they put up for bid, shouldn't I get back my money if I am not happy with the substituted item?

One thing I KNOW I am not wrong about is that I should not be ignored when I think a mistake has been made. At least have the conversation with me. Another thing I know is the cigar that CBid is sending out as "Belinda Blacks", does NOT have a dark, sun-grown wrapper as described by Trish and all other information I can find.

I've smoked em. The natural is a light shade grown looking Ecuador Sumatra. Belinda Black has a dark brown Media Tiempo wrapper. Two totally different cigars, with two totally different wrappers.

I returned a box of cigars once. No problem.

Does the Belinda Black come in a pale natural wrapper, or only in the dark, sun-grown?

I want to confirm if I am right (or wrong) BEFORE going back to confront them. Thus the title of the thread.

They have the same band, but a Belinda natural is just a Belinda. "Only" Belinda Black have the dark wrapper.

I have won fivers of Belinda "Black" Epicures on maybe 3 occasions. I thought maybe my eyes were getting worse cause I could have sworn what I got were the familiar "regulars." I never took it up with CS, but now it looks like I should have. I suspect they've shipped a bunch of mislabeled packs. I didn't want to be a whiner!
