I recently had the old UPS guy show up with a box of goodies from Cbid. 4 packs of 5 cigars. Monte Carlo, Honduran Cream, Havana Sunrise and Havana Royal. So far, I'm pretty pleased. The Honduran Creams are the poorest of quality in the bunch but the Monte Carlo and the Havana Royal have proved to be a great deal!

The burn was even, the ash grew dangerously long before being helped off and the general construction was good. They certainly weren't as good as my more favored smokes but, how can you compare a $1.00 cigar to a 10.00 or even a 5 buck cigar.

Part of my enjoyment in smoking a cigar is just that, the puffing away at it. For an every day cigar, they have a decent enough taste and burn better than many of the more expensive cigars I've tried. I was thinking of trying to age a couple for a few months to see if that helped any but I think that they will be gone before then.

On another note, I just finnished my coolador after seeing how many auctions I won. My 50 count humidor just isn't going to hold the 65 cigars that are on the way. I've enjoyed seeing all of the pictures of everyones coolador and maybe, now that I've found cigarbid, maybe I will be able to sport a picture of my own 😉

Whatever you built for a coolador, might just as well start another. You're handling it right by loading up on 5-packs to find what you like. Then you're not stuck over on the trades board trying to unload boxes you don't like.

You know, it's kinda crazy. I now live in a town where the only place that has a humador is a party shop attached to a liquer store. They have a great selection of beer and all kinds of liquer at good prices but their humidor sucks. Everything is at least twice what it should be and they never had any of my favorites so I've been buying quantity from another shop in Columbia SC when I'm up that way. My point I guess is that I didn't think of buying online or at least searching online until I bought one of those combos from TC (I wouldn't suggest it for the cigars they weren't very good and I'll smoke about anything). Any way, I buy all sorts of stuff online and now, I am buying my stogies online too.

I buy most of my bulk cigars on the 'net. I buy most of my super premiums from a couple of brick-n-mortar dealers I have supported for nearly a decade. They have retail prices on the Fuentes, Padrons and Ashtons. I always advocate keeping a good brick-n-mortar dealer in business with some patronization, but it sounds like you don't have much of a choice where you're at. You'll get about anything you want, or want to try, at CBid.

I'm lucky, I have an excellent brick and mortar shop just minutes away, and the selection is outstanding. I like to go and browse to try different smokes. The only thing is, he dosen't cary Torano for some reason.
