My brother had his first surgery on a broken bone in his hand not to long ago. Minor, but it was his first. You talk about a pistol, his friends call him Tom Bomb cause you don't know when he is going to go off. Anyway, my Mom calls me cause Tom is upset and pissed about going in tomorrow and thinks he will do a no show. I call him, he's ranting (like I am now) telling me he is not going to let them take his pants and shoes considering they are operating on his hand. After much deliberation, I told him "they'll just wait till your under then take your shoes and cut your pants off of you." The next day I picked him up, took him to the hospital, left, waited on the call saying it was time to pick him up. I walked in and saw him sitting there (with his pants in tact)looking like pure hell in an arm cast. I get his stuff, the elderly nurse comes over giving me his prescription and instructions. I thank her and as we are leaving, Tom turns to her and says "I hate for taking my shoes".

Rick. I'm sure everything will be fine with the procedure. Besides, you need to come back here and keep everyone in line. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
