Hey guys,

I have grown my first crop of Havana seed tobacco. It's not that big, only about 10 plants, but I'm told that it will yield a fair amount. I'm just wondering if any of you have done this before, and if so, what steps should I follow to harvest my tobacco? I just need advice on harvesting it from the soil and preparing it to cure. Thanks!

Where do you plan on aging the 'leaf bunch' for 1-3 years, or were you planing on aging it at all?

I am going to age half of the leaves, not for 3 years, but for more like 6 months to a year depending on how everything looks, smells, and feels, and I might use the other half to make some chew. The plants will be ready to cut next week. I just need advice on how to harvest them from the ground, and how to properly cure the leaves so they dont dry out too fast and become brittle. Thanks to anyone who can help.
