Once in a while, for something different...

Heavenly, Leyunda Cubana, Cuban Delights have all been tried and enjoyed.

Then of course, there is the ACID line.

Once in a while an Acid isn't bad for a change of pace.

Have tried a couple of CAO Moontrance that were very high quality & very tasty.

I love the acid blondie and kuba kuba. The C notes are a bit too strong for such a small cigar, but over all Drew Estate has done a good job. The only other flavored brand I like is CAO Flavours. The Moontrance is exceptional. My 2 cents on flavored

I have some cherry flavored Cuben Delights from TC that I'm smoking right now, which are just OK. My favorite though is a rum flavored cigar. I bid on some Maker's Mark 'gars here, & if I get them I'll let you know how they were.

I like the Drew Estates Kaluha cigars, also the Natural Line from Drew Estates has some light sweetness to them but not sure I would consider them a flavored cigar. The Acid line is to petuly oil (spelling??) scented, reminds me of an old ladys perfume.

The only flavored cigars I like are the

Gurkha Platinium (cognac)

and Kaluha

All the rest I've given away.

Flavoured cigars are nice for short smokes when hanging out with your unenlightened cigarette smoking friends. At least then you won't be outside forever finishing your Churchill. 🙂 They're also nice to take to the pub or bar, because of the crowd pleasing aroma... even if there is a 'no cigars' policy, the staff are likely to not notice or look the otherway.

Yours,

Sheila.

A guy gave me a home made one the other day. It was a bundled lonsdale he had bought from the bandits in Tampa. He puts marbles in the bottom of a jar & puts Crown Royal in the bottom, then he rests the cigar on top of the marbles & allows them to sweat in the jar for 30 days with the vapors from the whiskey rising to the cigars. This is done with a lid on the jar.

The cigar was ok. You could taste & smell the whiskey in the smoke from time to time. It was better than the Maker's Mark I've tried.

Years ago when I was an avid fishherman, I would lug Swisher Sweets or Rum Rivers along in my tackle box.

Other than that, I've had no flavored cigars.

I've wanted to try Acids but I'm afraid that they'll permanently taint my humidor(s). I wonder if there any "safe", flavored cigars out there? Something without "petulie"(sp?) oil. LOL

Oh, and leave grannie's drawers out of this. PLEASE!

Hat's suggestion looks interesting, but I feel that is a sinful waste of Crown Royal--unless you filter it out & drink it later.

Now, if the Acids smelled like a young woman, I might smoke them. Pablo, I'm not in grannys drawers, but I have sniffed her perfume (is that bad?). Besides the granny thing, they also smell like hippys.

I used to change the flavor profile, to fit whatever particular need, of bbq sauce with a little added liquer.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember that amaretto, apple schnaaps & Grand Marnier used to create some interesting flavor profiles. Peach schnaaps wasn't bad either.

By far the most interesting, & went very well with pork, was apricot brandy. We called it AB sauce.

Sorry for the threadjack.

The only flavored cigars that I ever smoke are the Cojimar exotics Chai Tea sticks. I will puff on one of them every once in a while.

Chai tea sticks, flavored bong water, grannie's unerpants...What's this thread coming to?!

Unless it's Chai sticks flavored with bong water that's been filtered through grannie's panties! I would think that the cigars would have earthy, pungent undertones.

LOL!
