This one's for the debate going on. Ploom is very fine and crystalline in nature. It starts out with dark streaks and forms slowly. It looks more like a haze, and over time, becomes very defined.

You'll know it's ploom when you touch the crystals and they're sticky. Plume isn't fuzzy, and it doesn't grow spores. It won't spider web.

If it turns fuzzy, forms little balls or spider webs, it's mold. Hope this helps.
