Are the Partagas Seconds worth giving a try?

Thanks

I haven't had the opportunity, but I'd give them a try, for sure. I've had good luck with the 2nds that I've purchased (Savinnelli and Villazon). Never seen Partagas 2nds.

I purchased a bundle of Partagas 2nds from another site. They were the 7 1/2 x 49 2nds of the Partagas #10. Flavor-wise there is nothing wrong with them, & I must say the price was right. The construction, however, was really atrocious & they had been dried out. I guess there's a reason they are called 2nds. Rookie rollers I suppose.

I have some info on Partagas seconds that I can only share via email.

xrundog,

any particular reason you didn't like them?

no help from me cause I have never had them, but I do know people who do like them and they say that the price is fair for what you get...

I had a bundle 3 or 4 years ago. They were flat tasting and sometimes bitter. Age did not help them. No complexity at all.

If you are wondering about the CI knockoffs Partagas, I do sell quite a few of them. We also so sell out real fast once we get them in. They are worth a try. If you don't like them, you can always return them!

To be fair, what I had were not the CI knock-offs. They were touted as "Partagas Seconds".
