It has been my experience Ploom does not spread. Also Ploom is crystal-like and follows the veins on the leaf. Sorry bro.

Guys, that is ploom. No doubt.

with the right light, you won't be able to see the crystals directly; however, the stick will have somewhat of a white halo-like appearance. If it were mold, you'd see it straight on no matter what lighting there is. Also, i don't see any diffinitive "branches" or "webs" spreading out.

but why would four cigars that are all touching one another ploom all at the same time and the same amount? I had this same thing happen in my coolidor, and it was mold.

I don't think they all have the same amount of Ploom....the Cohiba has a great deal more. Now, I do understand your logic, but I think that it is possible that Mr. Blueyes may have put them together for the photo shoot.

It is amazing how mold is mistaken for plume.

Plume is no that common

Definately mold ... ploom is not fuzzy, it's a very find crystaline powder like substance ... and is evenly distributed.

Sorry ... but you guys have jut got to stop thinking that mold is plume.

Lower your RH and your temp and that should help stop mold. 70/70 (I prefer 65/70 🙂

These were put together for the pic. The substance you see is a fine crystally powder not a moist mold. My digital hydrometer reads 67/68.
