Okay, They're not what a lot of y'all smoke, but they're still darn nice cigars. And for a blue collar working stiff like me, still a substantial investment. That said, at just under $3.00 per stick including shipping, I can smoke one as often as I like and still afford to eat. I know most of my BTOLs are familar with the LGCs but may not know the ERM Rothschilde. I'd call them medium bodied but very full flavored. They are one of my favorites in this price range. If you see a single at your local, pick it up, you may really like it as much I do.

mhopk, there may be a few snobs on here, but not many! most of us have a few lower priced gars we enjoy on a daily basis. You don't hear eevrybody talking about their favorite cheapies, cuz they don't want the bidding to go crazy on them and drive the price up 🙂 Some of my personal faves are the Sherpas, Free Cubas, Sacubas, and Gran Habanos (breakfast gar). Needless to say, I'm stocked up enough to hold out through a brief feeding frenzy! 🙂

BTW, although I don't recall having personally tried them the ERDM's have a heck of a reputation on these very boards! Enjoy! and Happy Birthday!

ERDM is one of the better non ISOM cigars around. Hell, I've smoked more of those than I have LGC.

I didn't want to suggest that some of our group are snobs because they post photos of high priced smokes, just that in a group this size there are many different income brackets and many different budgets set aside for our hobby/obsession. That's part of what makes a forum like this fun. Heck, if I ever do score the $300 box of whatever, you can believe I'll post a photo here right away.

Don't let anyone kid you, bud... those are some good 'gars! The El Rey's are definately a good medium bodied smoke with lots of flavor and as for the LGC Wavell.... its a fantastic smoke! One of my regular rotation cigars currently is the LGC Wavell Maduro: great construction, great flavor, great price.... what more could a cigar hound ask for? Be proud of those smokes! I have a 150qt cooler full of medium priced boxes of smokes like those and I'm damn proud of 'em as well as the high priced smokes I own.
